Bula FC confirm new signings ahead of 2027 season

Bula FC have announced a number of new signing ahead of the 2027 OFC Pro League season, including a couple of overseas names sure to catch the eye.

The Fijian side, who finished third in the regular season in 2026, had previously confirmed some of their returning players, including Scott Wara, Thomas Dunn and Kaile Auvray.

Today's announcement sees Head Coach Stephane Auvray bolster his ranks ahead of the new campaign, with Brazilian striker William Medina arguably the most high profile name.

The forward was outstanding in this season's OFC Men's Champions League, scoring 11 goals in total, including three consecutive hat-tricks in the group stage.

Medina is joined by Ivorian centre-back Souleymane Koné as the club's other overseas signing announced today.

The club have also announced a trio of New Caledonia talent, with Josué Welepane, Morgan Mathelon and Pierre Lékawé all adding to Auvray's options.

Welepane and Mathelon also appeared in this season's OFC Men's Champions League, for AS Tiga Sport, whilst Lékawé was part of Tiga's squad the previous year.

Also joining up with Bula's squad for next season is Jerome Narayan, Abdullah Khairati and a returning Nabil Begg.

Fijian international Begg made 15 appearances for Bula in 2026, scoring twice.

I'm really excited to represent the club in this major competition, and I can't wait to start working with the team. May this OFC Pro League season be an incredible chapter

With seventeen players now confirmed, there remains six spots open for Bula FC to fill ahead of the new season.

Head Coach Auvray says he is hoping to have his full squad more or less finalised by mid-December, to allow for preparation ahead of their opening match against PNG Hekari FC in Papua New Guinea on January 24.

"We want to have most of the squad confirmed so we can work together.

"By mid-December I would like to have 20 players out of 23 minimum", Auvray said when addressing media.
