South Melbourne FC have announced the loan singing of Vanuatu United FC captain Hassan Ramazani, for the remainder of the Australian side's 2026 season.

The central defender was a imperious figure for Lars Hopp's team in the inaugural OFC Pro League campaign, with his performances leading to his selection in the Team of the Season.

The former Brisbane Roar player will add much-needed depth to South Melbourne's already strong squad, as they look to handle a challenging domestic schedule for the remainder of 2026.

Senior Football Director Peter Kokotis was delighted to be adding Ramazani to the club.

“Hassan is someone who really impressed us every time we came up against him in the OFC Professional League.

"He is a tough defender, comfortable on the ball and has the versatility to play across the back four, which makes him a valuable addition to our squad.”
