South Melbourne FC have bolstered their attacking ranks with the signing of New Zealand forward Kosta Barbarouses.
The 76-cap Kiwi international has a plethora of experience, having played for Wellington Phoenix, Melbourne Victory, Sydney FC and Greek giants Panathinaikos.
Most recently at Western Sydney Wanderers, Barbarouses joins a South Melbourne side who have enjoyed a successful 2026.
The club were the runners-up in the inaugural final of the OFC Pro League and became just the third non-A-League side to reach the Australia Cup final - where they will take on city-rivals and Barbarouses' former club Melbourne Victory on October 10.
The 36 year-old also boasts an impressive medal collection at club and international level, having won three A-League Premierships, one Australia Cup and three OFC Nations Cups.
He joins an increasingly dangerous forward line at Hellas, with the likes of Yuki Uchida, Bul Juach and Jordan Swibel already established and looking to go one better when the OFC Pro League returns in January.
