Luke Casserly has been appointed as Assistant Coach to new Head Coach Pedro Moreira at Auckland FC's A-League side.
Casserly led Auckland FC to the inaugural OFC Pro League title in May, with a victory over South Melbourne FC at Eden Park in Auckland.
As well as leading the Pro League side, Casserly has also served as the clubs inaugural Reserves Coach and A-League Second Assistant.
A former Australia internationalist, Casserly previously held the role as Head of National Performance with Football Australia, as well as a stint as Head Coach of Australian club side Marconi Stallions.
Before Pedro Moreira's appointment this week, Casserly filled the role of Head Coach when Auckland FC took on English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur at Eden Park in a pre-season friendly.
Casserly will now look to help Auckland FC defend their A-League title, when their new season begins in October.
