We're still five months away from the 2027 OFC Pro League season, but the teams and players that caught the eye earlier this year are continuing to make an impact across the Pacific.
Whether with their current Pro League clubs, or in pastures new, here's who is catching the eye during the offseason.
OFC Men's Champions League 2026
A number of OFC Pro League stars will be on show when the OFC Men's Champions League kicks off in Fiji this weekend.
A total of 34 players who competed in the OFC Pro League earlier this year will be looking to lift the trophy, with Fiji's Rewa FC boasting the most with 11 - including Tahiti United's Joseph Athale and Tevita Waranaivalu.
Auckland FC trio Matt Ellis, Nathan Lobo and Michael Den Heijer will be keen to make it a trophy double, as they join an Auckland City FC side looking to win a fifth OFC Men's Champions League in a row.
The action kicks off on Sunday, August 9. Check out the full match schedule here.
Auckland FC
Speaking of Auckland FC, the club's A-League side took on the English Premier League's Tottenham Hotspur at Eden Park recently, in a pre-season friendly.
OFC Pro League Golden Ball winner Daniel Normann started alongside Ronan Wynne - both of whom have signed contracts with the A-League squad.
There was also appearances from Pro League stars Jonty Bidois, Luka Vicelich, Bailey Ferguson, Isa Prins, Van Fitzharris and Dejaun Naidoo, as Tottenham ran out 2-0 victors in a rainy Auckland.
South Melbourne FC
OFC Pro League runners-up South Melbourne FC are continuing their domestic campaign in Australia.
They currently sit fifth in the National Premier Leagues Victoria table and looking set for a place in the Finals series.
Even more eye-catching was the club's spectacular victory over A-League side Adelaide United in the Round of 32 in the Hahn Australia Cup. Team of the Season's Yuki Uchida on target in a 2-1 win.
They will now look to continue their fairytale cup run when taking on Fremantle City FC this weekend in the last 16.
Elsewhere in Australian Cup action, Bula FC defender Scott Wara on target for Maitland FC, scoring a towering header before his side conceded two late goals against South Melbourne FC's next opponents, Freemantle City.
PNG Hekari FC
Papua New Guinea's first-ever professional football club are back in domestic action, with the side currently third in the PNG Premier Soccer League.
Jerry Allen's side are just one point behind second-placed Port Moresby Strikers, with league-leaders Lae City a further six points ahead.
A top four finish will ensure PNG Hekari book a place in the end-of-season playoffs.
Bula FC
Captain and star striker Roy Krishna was a focal point of Bula FC's debut season in the OFC Pro League and the experienced forward has been a leading figure in the club's recent community outreach programmes.
The Fiji international spent time with students at his old high school - All Saints Secondary School in Labasa, passing on his knowledge and helping to inspire the next generation of young Fijian footballers.
Roy also visited the Fiji FA Academy, meeting young players from both the academy and the Fiji FA Elite Academy - a pathway that has already produced several players who represented Bula FC last season.
Loan Stars
A number of OFC Pro League players have made loan moves during the offseason, with plenty hitting the ground running for their new clubs.
Vanuatu United's Otto Ingham was voted Player of the Match in Auckland United's recent victory over Manukau United. The forward also got on the scoresheet in a resounding 6-0 win.
Ingham's Vanuatu United team mate Raymond Diho has also been in action for his loan club, Peninsula Power in Australia. Diho came off the bench in the team's semi-final victory over Rochedale Rovers in the semi-finals of the Kappa Queensland Cup.
They will take on Lions FC in the final on Saturday, August 22.
Azariah Soromon - also of Vanuatu United - has made the loan move to Western Strikers in South Australia and is making an immediate impact. The powerful forward picked up Player of the Match honours in his side's 2-1 victory over Adelaide Titans late last month.
A number of South Island United stars have made the move to partner club Christchurch United during the offseason. Callum Kennett, Josh Rogerson, Ollie van Rijssel, Riley Grover, Charlie Beale, Rovu Boyers and Ry McLeod were all in action for the side's recent league clash with Cashmere Technical.
Christchurch United currently sit seventh in the New Zealand Southern League.
