Auckland FC's Pro League title winners picked up more silverware as the OFC Men's Champions League came to a close in Fiji, but there was cup final heartache elsewhere as the offseason rolls on.
Auckland City FC retain Oceania crown
New Zealand side Auckland City FC made it 14 OFC Men's Champions League successes, after they overcame a resilient Central Coast FC in the weekend's final.
Auckland FC forward Matt Ellis scored the clinching second goal, with fellow Pro League stars Christian Gray, Nathan Lobo, Matthew Foord, Fergus Gillion and Michael Den Heijer also picking up medals.
Bula FC's Foord picked up the Golden Glove award as the tournament's outstanding goalkeeper.
A big week for Pro League finalists
The finalists from the OFC Pro League's inaugural season are preparing for two crunch fixtures this week.
South Melbourne FC take on Preston Lions this evening in their Australia Cup quarter-final. Hellas have enjoyed a dream run thus far and have the final in their sights.

Knockout upsets
Vanuatu United's Raymond Diho suffered cup final heartache during his loan spell with Peninsula Power FC. The Australian side came up agonisingly short in their Queensland Cup final, losing 1-0 to Lions FC.
Also in Australia, Bula FC defender Scott Wara scored in a penalty shootout, but couldn't prevent his Maitland FC side from losing to Weston Bears FC in their NPL Men's Northern NSW finals match.
Mixed fortunes for loan stars
Vanuatu United's Otto Ingham was on the scoresheet yet again for Auckland United, as they secured a vital win over Bay Olympic in New Zealand's Northern League.
It was a less enjoyable week for Christchurch United. Josh Rogerson, Oli Van Rijssel, Lewis Partridge, Riley Grover, Charlie Beale and Ry McLeod were all in action as they fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat to Coastal Spirit. Solomon Islands international Rovu Boyers was an unused substitute.
Last season's Golden Boot winner Alex Saniel was in the starting XI for Caroline Springs George Cross, as they took on Hume City. The Vanuatu international however was on the wrong end of an action-packed 3-2 scoreline.
PNG Hekari FC continue fine domestic form
The Papua New Guinean side turned on the style, as they hammered Finschhafen Bavarians FC 7-2 in Round 20 of the PNG Premier Soccer League.
Pro League captain Ati Kepo got his name on the scoresheet, as the race for the title heats up.
A word too for PNG Hekari FC striker Tommy Semmy. A regular for the national team and a former OFC Men's Champions League goalscorer, the forward notched an incredible five of his side's seven goals.
